Although you may have set out to hire a DJ, you get much more when you hire me. I like to consider myself more of a "host," in addition to being your DJ and MC. Not only am I the voice of your wedding, but I'm also there to make sure you and your guests are having a great time, which goes beyond just playing songs.
It's not uncommon for me to help greet your guests, and I always coordinate things with your other vendors. On occasion, I've even helped serve cake (when there wasn't a catering staff) or passed out sparklers for the end-of-the-night send-off. In short, I don't want you to have to worry about anything on the day of your wedding!

Your Love Story
Whether it's romantic or just plain silly, one of my favorite things is getting to know your love story. I've heard stories ranging from porta-potty proposals to elegant mountaintop "I do's." If you would like, I will carefully take notes and share this with your guests during the reception.
Every couples' story is unique, and allowing me to share yours with your guests can really add some enjoyment and fun to the party.

Your Special Dances
Being the only one on the dance floor (along with your dance partner) can make a few minutes seem like a really long time. As a benefit to you, and at your request, I create shortened, custom edits of your special dances.
So, if your father/daughter song is longer than a couple minutes, I will carefully edit it to a shorter length. This sounds much better than simply fading out in the middle, and the song still has a beginning, middle, and end. Your Speeches on CD
Included with all of my DJ reception packages, I can record the audio of your speeches and toasts and send them to you on CD after the wedding. This makes for a great keepsake that you can listen to years later.
Also, I have two wireless handheld microphones included with all of my ceremony packages, which allows your best man or maid of honor to already have a mic in hand as I introduce them for their speech.

Additional Speakers
For smaller rooms, two speakers will often times cover an area quite nicely. But when the room is larger, you may need to add extra speakers so nobody misses out on what is being said. Are you planning to have a cocktail hour in a foyer or on an outdoor patio? You probably need a speaker or two for background music and announcements to be heard in those areas.
I have the equipment to cover any size room and the ability to put sound in areas other than near the dance floor. Please let me know when requesting a quote if you think additional speakers may be needed.
